New Regionalism

New Regionalism documents the art of Bryan Dawes Haynes whose influence comes largely from Regionalist painters Thomas Hart Benton, John Steuart Curry and Grant Wood. The brilliantly-colored coffee-table book shows the artist’s sculptural forms, undulating lines, and rhythmic gestures that characterize his landscapes and historical paintings. Commercial work and creative process is also documented, giving insight into what can only be described as New Regionalism.
